How long and how often is therapy?

Therapy is an ongoing process. While we are getting to know each other, it is ideal to meet every week. However, I do not want to overwhelm my clients. After you feel comfortable with me, we will decide together on a meeting schedule.

There may be times where you need to be seen less frequently but I always suggest a "check up" session every several months when things are going well. There are no rules for how long successful therapy should take. You will determine when your needs have been met.

Do you offer virtual or in-person therapy?

I offer both! Tuesdays and Wednesdays are virtual. Thursday through Saturday sessions take place at my office in Center City.

What are your hours and how long are therapy sessions?

I do sessions Tuesday through Saturday, with the earliest session beginning at 11:00 AM and the latest beginning at 6:00 PM. Individual sessions are 50 minutes and couples sessions are 90 minutes.

What if I need to cancel a session?

I completely understand there are often instances that cause clients to have to cancel their sessions. If you need to cancel, please notify me 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the missed session. If the session is cancelled within the 24-hour time limit, you may be charged the full fee unless we are able to reschedule for another time that week.  

Do I have to live in Philadelphia to work with you?

Nope! I see clients who live all over Pennsylvania. I also work with people living in New Jersey, though those sessions have to be in-person.
